Stuttgart - Brussels EW2162
Dash-8-Q400 operated by LGW D-ABQC 02F
Boarding started on time and by bus as this flight is operated on the Dash 8 Q400, once at the plane all passengers having a trolley had to leave them on a cart as they’re simply too large for the cabin. The plane itself was in a standard white color scheme with just the Eurowings title on the fuselage and logo on the nose.
Crew wears the Eurowings uniform but it’s operated by LGW (as they previously did for Air Berlin). The inside of the cabin is a standard 2-2 layout with a generous pitch (unlike the cramped layout on Laudamotion) and the bulkheads still have the logo of Air Berlin on it just like the Laudamotion.

I was greeted by the friendly female purser in the typical blue EW uniform, on this type they operate with 2 crew members both female. As soon as everyone was on board the doors were closed and the plane made it’s way to the runway with an on time departure from runway 25. Shortly after take off they started their service, this time with an announcement about the service and again the same as on my previous flights. The only difference on this one was that they didn’t offer the ‘duty free’ selection due to lack of space or time. Furthermore the flight itself was very smooth with a load factor of let’s say 75% (reason enough to put the Q400 on it ISO the usual A319) and this makes the plane a comfortable choice on a short flight to and from Brussels. Unlike the Flybe Q400 which operated for SN this one did have the window shades except at het escape hatch where I was sitting. After approx. 45 minutes the plane started it's descent into Brussels airport with an arrival on runway 25L. Once at the gate and door opened deplaning needed to wait until they had the cart with all so called delivery at aircraft trolleys which were handed over during boarding at STR airport.
