This sunny morning I left Brussels on our national carrier to catch my 2 other Eurowings flights. Scheduled airplane was the Airbus A319 OO-SSD (ex meridiana), boarding started a little later than foreseen as the plane came in from Bilbao. I was greeted by the friendly pursers M.V, originally this flight was fully booked but due to missed connections there were more empty seats. Once in my seat the purser offered a bottle of water and a little later a newspaper was offered by one of the crew members. As soon as everyone was on board the plane got pushed (a little later than foreseen) and took off from runway 25R.

After take off the plane turned right with a beautiful cloudless view over the airport. Soon when the plane reached it’s cruising altitude the in flight service started. On SN short haul they still offer Bizz&Class, Flex&Fast and Light&Relax/Check&Go. Passengers in B&C get a hot towel followed by a cold breakfast tray while passengers in F&F get a breakfast box both with hot and cold drinks. Passengers in L&R and C&G can buy something from the menu of which SN teamed up with foodmaker to provide different sandwiches every month. On some flights you get to choose something from the menu when travelling in B&C if you don’t like the meal offered. Once the service is finished offers chocolates to both B&C and F&F. A little while later the descent started towards TXL airport with an advance arrival.
